- Diana Smith, 23, of the Bronx, was arrested after allegedly punching, kicking, and choking a 23-year-old woman on a crowded New York City subway in an incident caught on video, according to the NYPD.
- Police said Smith yelled antisemitic remarks during the incident, including “Jews are eating kids!.. You’re a Jew. I can smell the kids.” Smith then allegedly hit, kicked, and choked the victim, threw her to the ground, and ripped out some of her hair.
- Smith was charged with hate crime assault, hate crime criminal obstruction of breathing, and hate crime aggravated harassment; the victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition. READ MORE Â
