- Dawud Walid, the Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Michigan chapter, said in an April 26, 2024 Friday sermon at the Medina Activity Center in Detroit that the top priority should be da’wa (Islamic outreach) to anti-Israel Jewish protesters.
- He visited the encampment at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and said that a group of Jewish protesters joined the Moslem evening prayers.
