- Transgender activist and Deviants motor club member Dana Rivers, of San Jose, Calif., has been convicted of three counts of first-degree murder and arson of an inhabited dwelling in the 2016 triple murder case of a family in Oakland.
- The victims were Charlotte Reed, Patricia Wright, and their son Benny Toto Diambu-Wright. Rivers was motivated by a disagreement with her motor club, the Deviants, which was once associated with the Hells Angels.
- Rivers, described as the club’s “enforcer,” was promoted to Sergeant of Arms after the murders. She set fire to the garage to cover up the crimes.
