  • Ghassan al-Sharbi, 48, who had been held for more than 20 years ‌at Guantánamo Bay, was repatriated to Saudi Arabia.
  • Sharbi, a U.S.-educated engineer, had taken flight school courses in Phoenix with two of the hijackers and is alleged to have made bombs for Al Qaeda.
