- The Boogaloo Boi movement is a violent and decentralized group with an ideology rooted in the desire to provoke a second U.S. civil war, as a way to destroy what they believe is a tyrannical U.S. government.
- The movement appeared on an internal Facebook list of “dangerous individuals and organizations,” yet the report notes that Boogaloo pages, groups and accounts have been able to flourish on Facebook despite the company’s assurances it is doing all it can to keep extremists from using the platform.
