Pennsylvania Man Charged With Making Threats to President Trump

  • Shawn Monper, a 32-year-old from Butler, Pa., was charged with four counts of threatening to assault and murder President Donald J. Trump, other U.S. officials, and ICE agents, based on comments posted on YouTube under the alias “Mr Satan” between January 15 and April 5, 2025.
  • Monper allegedly made explicit threats, including a February 17 comment calling for killing Trump, Elon Musk, and agency heads, referencing an “American Revolution 2.0,” and a March 4 statement on a Trump Congress address video saying, “I’m going to assassinate him myself.” He also threatened ICE agents, labeling them terrorists.
