  • Shawn Monper, a 32-year-old from Butler, Pa., was charged with four counts of threatening to assault and murder President Donald J. Trump, other U.S. officials, and ICE agents, based on comments posted on YouTube under the alias “Mr Satan” between January 15 and April 5, 2025.
  • Monper allegedly made explicit threats, including a February 17 comment calling for killing Trump, Elon Musk, and agency heads, referencing an “American Revolution 2.0,” and a March 4 statement on a Trump Congress address video saying, “I’m going to assassinate him myself.” He also threatened ICE agents, labeling them terrorists.
  • The FBI investigation linked the “Mr Satan” account to Monper’s residence and found he obtained a firearms permit post-inauguration. Monper admitted to buying guns and ammo, with March comments indicating plans for a mass shooting and ongoing weapon purchases.
