  • Ricky Shiffer, 42, was killed following an attempt to breach the FBI’s Cincinnati field office.
  • Shiffer was armed with a nail gun and an AR-15-style rifle when he tried to breach the FBI office.
  • Authorities are looking into threats he made against the FBI on social media, including his self-proclaimed attendance at the Jan. 6, 2021 riot and his ties to the Proud Boys.
