Clarion’s National Security Analyst and Shillman Fellow Ryan Mauro weighs in on President Trump’s controversial decision to bypass Congress and provide an $8 billion emergency arms shipment to Saudi Arabia.

Mauro argues that the fallout from not providing our ally with arms to fight the Iranian-back Houthis in Yemen would (a) not end the humanitarian crisis in the war-torn country and (b) cause potentially devastating economic repercussions in the U.S.
