Preventing Violent Extremism

About the Training Sessions

By bringing the Clarion Project Preventing Violent Extremism training sessions to your city, you have the opportunity to engage our instructors to develop a better understanding and responsiveness to radicalization within your community and industry.

Our program works with parents, educators, social workers, counselors, local and state politicians, law enforcement and other members of the general public who come into contact with at-risk youth. We help you identify people most vulnerable to radicalization — and how to help them!

Some of the questions we answer are:

  • What is radicalization?
  • What are the signs of radicalization?
  • What are the “push” and “pull” factors that drive radicalization?
  • What is the link between ideology and extremism?
  • Why is radicalization seen as a solution for alienated individuals?
  • How does radicalization prey on vulnerability?
  • What steps can you take to help prevent radicalization?
