The Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) has published the results of a year-long investigation into the stream of radical Islamists who have visited the White House since President Barak Obama took office.

The report, authored by Steve Emerson and John Rossomanto, is titled, A Red Carpet for Radicals at the White House. The report documents the literally hundreds of visits by groups that have been designated by the Department of Justice as unindicted co-conspirators in terrorist trials (such as the Council on American Islamic Relations, CAIR),  extolled terrorist entities like Hamas and Hezbollah (such as the Islamic Society of North America, ISNA), obstructed terrorist investigations and are on record as claiming that many of the Islamic terrorists convicted since 9-11 were framed by the U.S government as part of an anti-Muslim profiling campaign (such as Mohamed Elibiary, appointed to the Homeland Security Advisory Council in October 2010 and who is on record as extolling Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini and condemning the convictions of the defendants in the Hamas money-laundering trial as a "loss for America" ).

IPT made the discovery of these visits by combing through millions of White House visitor log entries. The entries were compared with court documents and other records that identified the radical Islamist background of the visitors and the groups with which they are affiliated.

In contrast, moderate Muslims have not been invited to the White House.  Dr. Zuhdi Jasser is a leader of moderate Muslims. Jasser, who served as the attending physican for Congress, is a former Navy officer and founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy.

“We’ve never been invited and nether have any of [the 24 leaders in] our American Islamic Leadership Coalition,” Jasser said, as reported by The Daily Caller.

The absence of invitations to real Muslim moderates allows White House officials to pretend that members of the well-funded, U.S.-based radical group are moderates, even when they’re linked to the Egypt-based Muslim Brotherhood, Jasser told the Caller.

Steve Emerson, founder of the Investigative Project on Terrorism, said in a statement, “The White House has selectively omitted genuine [Muslim] moderates and instead has picked radical Muslims to meet.”

Another important article recently published that documents the infiltration of Islamists and Islamist-friendly Muslims into the Obama administration is titled, Keep Your Friends Close and Your Enemies Closer by Gadi Adelman. Adelman's article shows the tremendous influence of  Egyptian-Born U.S. Muslim Dalia Mogahed, who was appointed as an advisor on the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnershipsshortly after Obama took office.

A devout Muslim, Mogahed is a staunch defender of Muslim Brotherhood front groups such as CAIR and ISNA.

In his article, Adelman documents the numerous Muslim members of the Obama administration who are sympathetic to Islamist groups and their ideology.

Both articles are worth the read.
