Model Killed ‘For Refusing Temporary Sex Marriage’

Iraqi model and social-media starlet Tara Fares, 22, was gunned down seemingly because refused a temporary sex marriage. And she is not the first as this video shows (if watching on a desktop best viewed in full-screen format):

 

Fares was shot with six bullets fired from a passing vehicle.

People say what she says in this clip might be why she was targeted:

 

 

In the video she says a Muslim man offered her nikah mut’ah, a temporary sex marriage. She rejected it and criticizing him for it. She asks viewers if that same man would agree to marry off his own daughter in the same way. His supposed response: of course not. Her conclusion is that men of religion allow themselves what they forbid from others.

Fare had some 2.8 million followers on Instagram at the time of hear death.
