ISIS declared war on the terrorist group Hamas on Thursday. The Islamic State’s branch in the Sinai peninsula made the declaration in a 22-minute video in which they execute a man accused of smuggling weapons to Hamas in Gaza.

In the clip, a jihadi calls on ISIS supporters to kill Hamas operatives in Gaza.

“Never surrender to them. Use explosives, silenced pistols, and sticky bombs. Bomb their courts and their security locations, for these are the pillars of tyranny that prop up its throne,” the narrator says, according to a translation by the SITE Intelligence Group.

ISIS cited Hamas’ failure to stop Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and its crackdown on rival Islamist militant groups as reasons for the war.

Hamas is the Muslim Brotherhood’s affiliate in Gaza, which it has ruled since 2006. Since taking over it has fired thousands of rockets at Israel, but has largely failed to carry out successful major attacks against Israeli military or civilian targets.

Hamas spokesperson Salah Bardawil dismissed the ISIS clip as a “Zionist production.”
