‘Don’t Reward Putin With Panic Over Syria Strikes’

Clarion Project’s National Security Analyst and head of  Ryan Mauro, Director of the Clarion Intelligence Network and the Clarion Project’s Shillman Fellow, appears alongside Lt.Col. Daniel Davis, to discuss the new U.S. sanctions on Russian entities for assisting Assad’s chemical weapons program and the risk of confrontation with Russia over Syria. Mauro argues that a long-term operation in Syria is unavoidable and that Putin is counting on the U.S. to overreact to his dramatic rhetoric.
