Disillusioned Jihadis Return From Syria: ‘Martyrs, Why Us?’

Jihadis from Saudi Arabia travelling to Syria to fight with the Islamist rebels returned to the Kingdom disillusioned, according to a report on Saudi TV's Channel 1.

Reporting that most of the jihadis going on suicide missions were Saudis, the returning jihadis said they were pushed to do the same. One of them asked, "Where are all the locals?"

In addition, they related that they were sent to fight against other rebels, whose identity was kept secret from them. They added that their commanders hid their identities and switched often, making a relationship with them impossible.
