A man sitting in jail on terrorism charges is believed to be behind a bomb threat made to a local post office, as documented by an NEA report.

Jihad Darnell Ramadan was awaiting trial for allegedly threatening an employment agency and a chicken processing plant. He is believed to be behind a bomb threat called into the post office in Pocachontas, Arkansas.

The call would have been made from the jail where Ramadan is thought to have had access to a telephone.

The threat precipitated the evacuation of the building and involvement from the FBI, Arkansas State Police and an explosives unit.

Unlike Ramadan’s other alleged targets, the post office is a federal building and charges, if levied, will be made accordingly.
