If you use one email address for banking, social media, and shopping, a single data breach can put all of those accounts at risk. Use separate email addresses for different types of accounts, especially for banking and other financial services. Do not use a work or business email for personal accounts either. That way, a message from a streaming service arriving at work, or a work-related message arriving in your personal inbox, will stand out immediately as illegitimate.
