- Two Israeli American men, identified as Lior Zeevi and Daniel Levy, were attacked on Feb. 8, 2026, outside the Augustine restaurant at Santana Row in San Jose, Calif., while speaking Hebrew as they waited for a table.
- Police said three suspects approached the men and began punching and kicking them; witnesses reported the attackers used antisemitic language, including slurs and statements referencing Iran. Video of the assault showed one victim being knocked to the ground and repeatedly struck.
