- A federal jury convicted nine members of a North Texas Antifa cell on March 13 for their roles in the July 4, 2025, attack on the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas.
- Prosecutors said the group arrived in “black bloc” clothing with firearms, explosives, and protective gear, launched fireworks and other devices, vandalized property, and opened fire when police responded. One defendant shot an Alvarado police officer in the neck. Evidence showed the group used encrypted communications and coordinated planning tied to an Antifa extremist network.
