- David Aaron Bloyed, 60, of Frost, Texas, was convicted by a federal jury in Nashville of one count of communicating a threat in interstate commerce to lynch and kill Nashville District Attorney General Glenn Funk. He faces up to five years in prison at sentencing.
- Bloyed made the threats on July 14, 2024, following the arrest of a Goyim Defense League (GDL) member for assaulting a bar employee with a swastika-adorned flagpole during GDL’s antisemitic “Name the Nose Tour” protest in Nashville, which involved waving Nazi flags and disrupting public spaces. Read More
