- Hashem Younis Hashem Hnaihen, a 44-year-old Jordanian national illegally residing in Orlando, was sentenced on April 30, 2025, to six years in federal prison for four counts of threatening to use explosives and one count of destruction of an energy facility,  causing over $450,000 in damages.
- Starting in June 2024, Hnaihen targeted Orlando businesses for their perceived support of Israel, smashing glass doors and leaving “Warning Letters” addressed to the U.S. government, demanding political changes and threatening to “destroy or explode everything in America.” He escalated by systematically destroying solar panel arrays at a Wedgefield, Fla., facility, causing significant damage. Read MoreÂ
