  • A criminal complaint was unsealed charging Hossein Akbari, 63, Reza Amidi, 62, and their Iranian company, Rah Roshd, with conspiring to procure U.S. parts for Iranian drones, provide material support to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a designated terrorist organization, and commit money laundering.
  • Akbari (CEO) and Amidi (commercial manager) allegedly used Rah Roshd to evade U.S. sanctions, procuring U.S.-origin parts, including one from a Brooklyn-based company, for Iranian UAVs like the Mohajer-6, which was shot down by Ukraine in 2022 after use by Russian forces.
  • Rah Roshd supplied advanced systems to the IRGC and Iranian state-owned entities, facilitating drone production for military use. Read More
