  • Lawmakers were evacuated from the Democratic National Committee headquarters and House office buildings locked down after law enforcement clashed with protesters pressing for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
  • Capitol Police said six of its officers were injured in the clash with protestors and one person was arrested for assaulting an officer.
