  • The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), identified by the Justice Department as an “entity” of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood, along with other Islamist organizations is trying to revive the Combating International Islamophobia Act.
  • Critics of the bill, introduced by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), claim that the bill disables criticism of Islamist activities both abroad and in the United States.
  • Both CAIR officials and Rep. Omar have a long history of antisemitic bigotry.
