Seattle police arrested a man on suspicion of a hate crime for reportedly throwing rocks at people and cars while shouting profane insults.
The 31-year-old man was arrested in Fremont on Thursday afternoon after he allegedly threw a large rock at a woman’s head that grazed her. He also threw a boulder through a different woman’s car window.
Victims and witnesses reported the suspect smashed windows, struck a vehicle with a trash can, used an anti-Asian slur, and punched a woman in the face.
