- Trinity J. Shockley, an 18-year-old transgender student from Mooresville High School in Indiana, was arrested following an anonymous tip originating from Wisconsin. Shockley was charged with plotting a mass shooting at the school on Valentine’s Day.
- Shockley had been planning the attack for a year, inspired by the 2018 Parkland shooting. Evidence included screenshots of conversations, photos of weapons, and a collage of past school shooters in Shockley’s bedroom. Shockley confessed to the plot, but claimed it was a “joke.”
