  • The Justice Department has announced nuclear materials trafficking charges against Japanese Yakuza leader Takeshi Ebisawa.
  • Ebisawa is accused of trafficking nuclear materials, including uranium and weapons-grade plutonium, from Burma to other countries.
  • According to the allegations, Ebisawa was caught attempting to sell the material to a DEA agent posing as an Iranian general.
