  • Mohammed Said Othman, 29, received a three-year prison sentence for his part in the violent assault of Joseph Borgen in New York City in May 2021.
  • The assault, which was motivated by antisemitic sentiments, occurred during a rally linked to the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza.
  • Other assailants involved in the attack have also received convictions, with sentences ranging from six months to seven years.
