  • Ilya Kahn, 66, a resident of Brooklyn, New York, was arrested in Los Angeles for his alleged involvement in a scheme to unlawfully export sensitive technology from the U.S. to a Russian business sanctioned by the U.S. government post-Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
  • Charged with conspiracy to violate the Export Control Reform Act (ECRA), Kahn is accused of repeatedly exporting sensitive technology to Russia, including microcontrollers, network interface controllers, and a radio-frequency transmitter without the required licenses.
