  • Yehia Amin, a 28-year-old man from New York City, has been indicted on hate crime charges related to an antisemitic attack on a 23-year-old Israeli tourist in Times Square.
  • Amin is charged with stalking in the first degree, assault in the third degree, stalking in the third degree, and aggravated harassment in the second degree, all as hate crimes.
  • The attack occurred on October 18, as the victim and friends, wearing kippahs, encountered Amin, who taunted and punched the tourist after a vile antisemitic tirade.
