  • Xavier Pelkey, 20, of Waterville, Maine, was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release for conspiring to provide material support to ISIS.
  • Pelkey pleaded guilty to conspiring with two minors, one located in Chicago and one in Canada, to conduct a mass shooting at a Shia mosque in the Chicago area.
  • In 2022, the FBI discovered three handmade explosive devices at Pelkey’s home, along with a hand-painted version of the flag used by ISIS on the wall of Pelkey’s bedroom.  Read More
