Multiple Russian cybercrime actors have been indicted in three different federal jurisdictions in connection with the Trickbot malware and Conti ransomware schemes.
Trickbot was a malware suite used for stealing money and facilitating ransomware installations, affecting hospitals, schools, and businesses.
Conti ransomware was responsible for attacks on over 900 victims worldwide, including critical infrastructure targets.
