Steven Carrillo, 34, of Ben Lomond, Calif. was sentenced to 41 years in prison for the killing of Homeland Security contractor David Patrick Underwood.
Underwood was shot and killed in May 2020 while guarding a federal building and courthouse in Oakland during protests over the police killing of George Floyd.
Carrillo has been linked to the anti-government Boogaloo Boi militia movement, espousing the Boogaloo movement ideology online for months leading up to the attack.
