The Ashura Project is a Shiite Muslim non-profit organization in Dearborn, Michigan. It holds various events at Great Revelations Academy, a private Islamic school in the same city.
On January 8th, 2019, it shared an event on its Facebook page. The event featured Sheikh Usama Abdulghani, who Clarion Project reported as a Hezbollah supporter in September of 2018. [1]
On October 16, 2019, it shared an event from its Facebook page featuring Sheikh Amin Rastani. [2] Rastani spoke at the Imam Khomeini Conference in 2014 in London. [3]
On February 16, 2018, it shared an event featuring Syed Asad Jafri. [4] Jafri, a Canadian, studied in Qom, Iran, known for its extremism. [5]
