The Islamic Center of East Lansing’s website claims it is affiliated with ISNA. [1]

Sohail Chaudhry is the leader or Imam of the mosque. Also seems to have ties to the NAIT. NAIT was identified as a Muslim Brotherhood entity from evidence presented at the Holy Land Foundation trial.

“USASpending.gov also shows 30 transactions from the Department of Justice to Imam Sohail Chaudhry of the Islamic Center of Morgantown, a mosque that is officially affiliated with ISNA and NAIT. Muslim female activist Asra Nomani has accused the mosque of fomenting extremism.” [2]

In 2014, Chaudhry, became infamous for his run-in with Asra Nomani. She claimed that his former mosque had extremist elements [3].
