The mosque's imam urged Muslims to study their non-Muslim enemies so 'that we will plan ourselves.'

The Islamic Center of South Florida says it “serves the Muslim community of the greater Ft. Lauderdale area.”[1]

The mosque is owned by the North American Islamic Trust.[2]

The mosque’s imam is Sheikh Hasan Sabri. He used to teach a class at the Islamic Center of Boca Raton in 2000. At the time, that mosque had a radical imam and promoted extremist websites.

In 2000, Sabri preached that non-Muslim enemies will wage war “until Islam will cease to be and until Muslims are either liquidated or they have joined the Christian or the Jewish faith.” He urged Muslims to study these enemies so “that we will plan ourselves.” The sermon accused the U.S. government of trying to manipulate its Muslim population into supporting its aggression.[3]

In 2003, Sabri said on a radio show that “the final battle between right and wrong” would be fought between Muslims and Jews and that rocks will show Muslims where Jews are hiding so they can be killed.[4]
